Woman gets on train with three loose birds leaving passengers bemused

A woman has baffled train passengers by sitting down with three loose birds flapping about on her table.

Twitter user Leanne has shared footage of a bizarre encounter with a lady who offered to take a photo of her holding one of her feathered pets.

Perhaps the strangest part of the entire meeting was how a seagull was wearing a hooded cloak as it was let loose on an Avanti West Coast service passing through Preston North End, Lancashire.

Perched beside the gull on the owner's pink bird-carrier rucksack, was a grey pigeon and trying to reach them was a tan and white bird of similar size.

Leanne tweeted: "i thought that the guy across from me on the train was bad for cracking all his fingers one by one but tell me why a womans just fully got on at preston with 3 loose birds.

"lauren it all happened so fast she got on and took them out so i asked for a pic and then she offered to take one of me holding one and i panicked and said yes."

A photo of Leanne shows her nervously smiling on the train holding a bird in her left hand as it appears to be frantically flapping its wings.

After getting over 1,000 likes and one hundred shares on her post, Twitter users flocked to shared their bemusement.

One person wrote: "You have to respect the audaciousness honestly."

Leanne proceeded to share her own mum's response over text to her wild train experience.

He mum hilariously replied: "Glad your home safe was getting worried. Pidgins lol we're they just flying about or did she have cages , weird is not the word why would you have these different birds on a train ? . xx"

Someone less concerned and more envious of the entire situation, commented: "This is my actual dream scenario I’m obsessed."
