Near-identical strangers with same name and life took DNA test to see if twins

Two near-identical strangers who shared the same name and even the same life have taken a DNA test to see if they are twins.

Brady Feigl was left absolutely stunned by the almost identical opposite of him, who stood at the same height, had the same job and both wore glasses.

The identical situation between Feigl and doppelgänger Brady Feigl, saw the pair both standing at six feet four, both with red hair, both from the United States and pursuing careers in baseball.

A happenstance encounter back in 2015 after a doctor treating one Feigl for an elbow injury confused the pair led to the shockingly strange discovery.

Brady said of the encounter: "I was probably six or seven months out of surgery and their office called our trainer and said, 'Hey, when's Brady reporting for surgery? Is he getting down here tomorrow?'

"He was like, "He had it six months ago. What are you talking about?" That's how I found out there was two of us."

Another encounter had the wrong Brady tagged in a tweet, with the other baseball star replying: "Wrong Brady Feigl. Might be looking for @bfeigl39."

Feigl, 22, was born in Missouri, United States and played baseball for Oakland Athletics Single-A baseball team, while Feigl, 27, from Maryland, played for the Texas Rangers' Triple-A team.

If that were not confusing enough, the pair decided to take a DNA test to figure out if it was happenstance or relation.

As it turned out, the pair are not related to one another, meaning the eerie likeness and similarities of name, career, height and everything that makes them similar, is pure coincidence.

Brady Sr said: "We're still brothers in a way. And we'll always be Brad Feigl."

Fans had speculated that the pair could be related to one another, or were separated at birth, despite their five-year age difference, The Sun reported.
