This Morning’s Dr Ranj Singh robbed of luxury watch on way home from BRITs

This Morning's Dr Ranj Singh has revealed he was robbed on his way home from the BRITs.

The 42-year-old medical professional attended the awards show which was held in the O2 Arena in London on Tuesday night.

While he enjoyed the evening, Ranj revealed in an Instagram note on Wednesday that he had been robbed of his luxury Clogau watch on his way home from the venue.

After confirming he had "the BEST night" at the ceremony, Ranj wrote: "Sadly, on my way home from Soho when I was walking to get a taxi, I was approached by a man who robbed me.

"It all happened so quickly and luckily I wasn't hurt at all (the git stole my watch though), but it could've been so much worse."

"I foolishly chased after him, but he got away.

"I now know that's not a good idea as sometimes these people will lead you into a trap."

Ranj had been partying with his fellow Strictly Come Dancing co-stars Vick Hope and Graziano Di Prima at the BRITs hours before the watch was stolen.

Revealing that he initially wasn't going to share news of his attack, Ranj said he changed his mind so that his experience could "serve as reminder" for people to remain safe heading home.

He added: "I wasn't going to say anything because I felt stupid and a little bit embarrassed, but after speaking to some friends, I thought it might just serve as a reminder: please be careful when coming home at night, even in spaces you think are safe.

"Look out for each other peeps."

Quick to console Ranj were his celebrity pals, who sent their love and condolences in regards to the terrifying incident.

Loose Women star Judi Love replied: "Omgg hun hope you're okay."

Meanwhile, Dancing on Ice's Oti Mabuse wrote: "So sorry this happened to you."

Ranj's fellow This Morning star Bryony Blake commented: "Omg I'm so glad you're ok my love! How scary!"

Elsewhere, presenter Gaby Roslin added: "No my darling. Hope you’re ok. Sending big love."
