The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus welcomes first child with girlfriend Diane Kruger

Congratulations appear to be in order for The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus and The Bridge‘s Diane Kruger, who have reportedly welcomed a baby.

The couple are parents to a new child, according to People, though no further details have emerged on the baby’s sex, name or birth date.

Digital Spy has reached out to representatives for both stars for comment.

Though neither have officially confirmed the speculation, Reedus posted a cryptic post to Instagram on November 2 that showed a tiny mermaid in the palm of giant hand. He captioned it was a red heart emoji.

Reedus and Kruger met while working on a movie in 2015, and seemingly confirmed their relationship in 2017. This is Kruger’s first child, though Reedus has a son from a previous relationship with model Helena Christensen.

Meanwhile, Reedus is appearing in the current season of The Walking Dead at the moment, and recently addressed the show’s falling ratings.

“Look, everyone’s worried about numbers and they’re like oh, the numbers have dropped,” he said last month.

“Well, they only drop when we compare it to ourselves, you know what I’m saying? The way people watch TV is different since we started, for everyone. I mean, sports are down across the board too. It’s just the nature of the beast, that’s how I see it.

“It’s a crazy weight to carry around on your shoulders when you have that big of an audience and everyone’s asking is it bigger, is it bigger? The beast has just changed, permanently for everyone now.”

He added: “Personally, I would love it if we never even talked about numbers. I just want to make a show we want to make, because what it feels like on set is great right now.

“I just want to make the honest show that we started making from the beginning, that’s what it feels like we’re making now.”
