Mel C says Victoria Beckham makes her ‘mad’ after slamming Spice Girls rumour

Mel C has denied that the band turned off fellow Spice GirlVictoria Beckham’s microphone during performances.

Speaking on the Not My Bagg podcast with Joe and George Baggs, the singer was asked about the rumour that Posh Spice’s mic was turned off while on stage.

Mel shaked her head and smiled before sharing her response with the Gogglebox brothers.

Sport Spice said: "She said that, didn’t she?

"Honestly she really makes me mad when she says this ‘cause she’s really got, like, no confidence in her vocal ability, and she should, because she’s got an incredible voice."

Joe went on to admit that one of his most streamed songs last year was Posh’s song Not Such an Innocent Girl from her debut solo album.

"The thing is with the Spice Girls," Mel explains, "none of us are, like, amazing singers; we’re all decent singers."

When challenged about this by George, she said that none of them sounded as good as artists like Mariah Carey or Ariana Grande.

She said they were a "package".

"It’s a package of each personality and the individuality, and then when we come together, it’s all the tones and textures that made the sound."

When asked if there was any drama between the five women during the height of success, Sporty Spice said that there was the "odd physical fight".

"We are like sisters. You know, we’ve experienced something so unique together. We were literally together 24/7 for four years straight.

"I think we love each other and drive each other mad in equal measures.

"There was loads of fights- the odd physical fight, but it was mostly big girl, you know what it’s like, but then you make up."

Asked if she remembered any significant brawls, she said, "The only night I think it got physical was after a few bevvy’s.

Me and Mel B had a little bit of a bust up and Geri got in the way and got chinned by mistake."
