Kerry Katona shares why she won’t be ‘bosom buddy’ Katie Price’s bridesmaid

Kerry Katona has revealed she won't be a bridesmaid at Katie Price and Carl Woods' wedding – despite being one before.

The Atomic Kitten singer spoke exclusively to the Daily Star in a chat about her new book Whole Again – where she addressed certain wedding rumours.

Katie and Kerry have both been married three times and have been bridesmaids at each other's weddings before.

The mum-of-five also addressed Katie in her book when she talked about her former wedding days.

This led us to ask her if she would be her bridesmaid this time around if she was to marry on-off partner Carl Woods.

Kerry, 42, said: "I highly doubt it – I wish her all the best – but I've never met Carl. People have this impression that me and Katie are like bosom buddies, I live up north she lives down south. I have no idea what goes in her life. We may send the odd text every now and then but that's about it."

Talking about her third marriage to George Kay, Kerry wrote in her book: "I invited Katie Price, Liz McClarnon and Danielle Brown to be my bridesmaids, alongside Lilly and Molly, while Heidi and DJ would be little flower girls.

"The morning wasn’t without its issues. Katie Price was supposed to be a bridesmaid but she pulled out as I was getting ready. She still came to the wedding, she just wasn’t part of the bridal party.

"I can’t remember now what the issue was, something about her dress not being right I think. She’d just had her daughter Bunny though, and that was probably part of the reason. I wasn’t best pleased. I was probably a bit of a bridezilla anyway, so I felt pretty pissed off, but Danielle sat me down and gave me the pep talk I needed."

Kerry was also a bridesmaid for Katie when she got hitched to Peter Andre, alongside the late Sarah Harding.

The TV star said: "We were both bridesmaids at Katie Price’s wedding to Peter Andre, so in a sense we shared a little bit of celebrity history. I remember she was on amazing form that day, madly in love with Calum Best at the time and really up for a laugh. She reminded me of myself so much."

Kerry Katona: Whole Again, published by Mirror Books, is available from high street stores, supermarkets and Amazon now.
