Suzanne Somers slipped an apron over a metallic Norma Kamali sequined gown to cook her husband, Alan Hamel, dinner-for-two, to celebrate his 85th birthday, we hear.

The birthday dinner on June 30 was at the couple’s recently sold Palm Springs compound, where they’ve lived since 1977.

Somers told us it was, “Candlelight only, dozens of them on white fine linens and large white antique oversized linen napkins.” With “Red roses (of course)” and “ice cold Cristal Champagne in a silver ice bucket.”

For the first course, the TV star-turned-chef for the night made, “thin potato rounds baked in clarified butter, then topped with crème-fraiche and imperial black caviar,” followed by “mushroom/black truffle risotto.”

“All the produce came from their organic garden,” a pal told us. And, “She cooked it all except the caviar.”

Desert was a “hot chocolate soufflé with fresh whipped cream and chocolate sauce.”

“We dressed up for starters. He in his cool black tux with no tie, me in Kamali silver sequins,” Somers said. Hamel even carried a pair of Manolo Blahnik stiletto heels for Somers, so she could walk the compound’s stairs in flats before dinner.

The TV legend, 74, sang “Happy Birthday” to Hamel, which was streamed on Instagram Live. The sexy and glam couple even told their online guests about how Somers, “enjoys giving Alan testosterone shots in his butt every day and what happens next!” a viewer told us.

The perky pair ended up in their hot tub drinking tequila shots as some local bighorn sheep snuck a peak of the crazy-in-love duo. Frisky Somers said that after the gourmet meal, “And then…. well, you know.”

They’re next moving to a new home in the area.
