A stray cat hunched its shoulders in fear when it was rescued in September.
But after a few months of TLC from his adopter, the moggy was completely transformed.
Nowadays, he looks a lot less skinny, has bright eyes and is always up to something cheeky.
On Reddit, his new owner said: “The day we found Booker out in the middle of nowhere in early September vs last week.
“He seemed to have given up and didn’t fight us or the vet at all.
“Now he’s practically bursting with mischief and his little cheeks have gotten so big and round and adorable. Love this boy.”
On Reddit, the before and after snaps went viral.
They garnered more than 760 likes – and many gushed over how happy Booker looks nowadays.
One commenter wrote: “I love a good rescue story! Many thanks to you for rescuing your kitty!”
Another said: “Awwwww, what a lucky kitty! Thank you for taking in Booker.”
A third wrote: “That’s legit sad kitty face on the left! Good thing you saved him!”
