Queen Letizia of Spain has honed the fine art of looking chic but business-like on royal engagements, but today she suffered a rare fashion faux pas at an event in Madrid.
The royal, 45, teamed a suede skirt with a black jumper but camera flashes as she posed for photos showed up the flesh-coloured bra she was wearing underneath.
Although her outfit was perfectly appropriate, the fine knit of her jumper left her revealing a little more than she’d bargained for as she attended the eighth Forum Against Cancer.
Aside from the unfortunate wardrobe malfunction, the monarch was looking chic in a brown suede skirt with a belted studded waist, with buttons down the front, and a slight slit up the front.

The Spanish royal attended the event on World Cancer Day as she’s a permanent honorary president of the Spanish Association against Cancer and its Scientific Foundation.
She looked relaxed as she arrived at the venue and met officials, pausing to have her photograph taken with them.

The eighth Forum Against Cancer event, hosted by the non-profit organisation was entitled ‘por un enfoque integral’, a comprehensive approach.
On Friday she attended another event for the forum, which highlights the work of volunteers, who care for people with cancer and their families.
On Friday at the event she also listened to patients, doctors, social workers, sociologists and officials of the association make speeches.

Queen Letizia is mother to Princesses Leonor, 13, and Sofia, 11, with husband King Felipe, 50, who ascended to the Spanish throne in 2014.
Letizia married King Felipe ten years ago at Cathedral Santa María la Real de la Almudena in Madrid.
The relationship began in November 2002 and in 2003, just months after she had been promoted to the position of anchor on the national news channel, she quit her job and days later the royal engagement was announced.
