My friends love my skinny frame, but I hate the way I look | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: MY friends are always talking about their desire to be skinny, but I can’t stand my tiny frame.

I’m a 55-year-old woman and am severely underweight at 7st.

I’m healthy and have a good appetite, but can never seem to put on any weight.

I have no curves and a flat chest, meaning I look like a child.

I hate my body so much that I refuse to let my partner see me naked, as I feel like my bones are sticking out all over the place.

Other people always comment on my weight, saying things like, “You’re so skinny”.

It’s like saying to a fat person, “You’re huge”. It’s not OK.

To be healthy and fit is something to be proud of.

Instead of homing in on the parts you dislike, find the things you do like and remind yourself of those aspects when you start to feel low.

Your partner loves you inside and out.
