We have been together for four years and have a good relationship, apart from this issue.
He contributes towards the rent and bills but I buy all our son’s clothes, food, toys and nappies, and I also pay for childcare.
Whenever we go shopping, my boyfriend will stand by the checkout and watch me pay.
He never offers to contribute, and seems to feel no shame about it.
While I work full-time, he is self- employed and does odd jobs.

I earn more than him but every penny goes on our son and our living expenses.
It’s my boyfriend’s choice not to get a proper job. I’m so fed up.
