Lidl May Bank Holiday 2021 opening times: What time are stores open?

LIDL shoppers will still be able to head to the discount supermarket over the bank holiday.

We have rounded up everything you need to know about when the store is open this weekend.

When is Lidl open over the early May bank holiday?

Lidl is usually open from 8am to 10pm most days and in most stores across the UK.

But on a typical Sunday the shop is usually open from 10am to 4pm, and this Sunday (May 30) is no different.

Bank Holiday Monday (May 31) however, is only open 8am – 8pm.

After that opening hours are back to normal from Tuesday but make sure you double check your local supermarket with Lidl's locator tool in case there's any variation from these times where you are.

Is Lidl delivering over the bank holiday?

Lidl doesn't actually offer home delivery anyway, regardless of the upcoming bank holiday.

The store is believed to have ditched plans to launch online shopping and delivery in the UK last year after shutting down the part of its business which runs digital logistics.

You can browse a few featured items on the store's website but it doesn't have a stock checking system online.

So you'll have to make the trip out to the shops if you want to nab some bargains over the holiday weekend.
