Leah McSweeney is doubling down on her fashion decisions.
The “Real Housewives of New York” newbie, 37, made waves during an early Season 12 episode when she wore a mesh bucket hat by Ida Klamborn on a trip to Ramona Singer’s Hamptons house, sparking snarky comments from her co-stars.
“Is that a fashion statement? Because I can’t quite figure it out,” Singer, 63, told McSweeney. “It’s very unusual.”
However, McSweeney is having the last laugh. The edgy $85 style sold out almost immediately after the episode aired on Bravo, and now, the Married to the Mob founder is teaming up with Klamborn on a special-edition hat inspired by the original.
McSweeney announced the collaboration on her Instagram Tuesday, revealing that there will only be 100 hats available on July 2 at 8 p.m. EST for her text subscribers.
She even included the cheeky code “tiki” — in reference to the same episode’s meltdown, in which she threw Singer’s tiki torches around her yard — for early access.
One fan summed up the clever partnership with Beyoncé lyrics: “Best revenge is your paper.”
