We love a good hair colour transformation, and Love Island host Laura Whitmore is giving us our fill this week with a love-themed hue that wouldn’t look out of place on a Casa Amor day bed.
Jetting back into Palma de Mallorca from the UK in preparation for the post-Casa recoupling, Laura is pictured with a gorgeous pastel pink hair colour. Considering she never strays from her signature beachy blonde lengths, the new look is quite the makeover for the mum-of-one. You’d also be forgiven for wondering if it was fellow pastel pink hair lover Fearne Cotton in the snaps.
Laura paired her bubblegum locks with denim dungarees featuring cute sunflower detailing. She’s also seen carrying an iced coffee – clearly the caffeine is going to be needed for the upcoming recoupling. Considering a few of the contestants’ heads are already turning, we predict we’re in for an explosive episode later this week.
The ITV2 host’s new look comes after her Glastonbury hen party where she wowed fans with a super cute braided hairstyle. In a selfie shared with her 1.5 million Instagram followers, Laura, 37, can be seen with two long beaded bracelets in her hair spelling the words “type on paper”, “vibes” and “love” – commitment to the job, tick!
We’re sure Laura’s new pink hair is going to go down a storm with #LoveIsland Twitter when the recoupling episode airs, but she isn’t the only one on the show reeling in the hair compliments. Indiyah Polack’s two-tone tresses have been the centre of Twitter commentary since she first made her debut on the show last month.
Experts are now predicting the two-tone look and the “skunk stripes” to be huge summer trends for 2022. What’s unique about Indiyah’s colour, however, is the blonde isn’t located on the fringe sections of her hair; instead she’s bleached two thick streaks on both sides of her hair. It might not be quite as visible when her hair is down, but it shows perfectly when her hair is slicked back into a bun or a ponytail.
I think we can all agree that this season of Love Island truly has been the best for trending hairstyles!
