How influencer Rachel Mee rose to fame before her tragic death from OnlyFans to lingerie brand

Rachel Mee, an influencer and OnlyFans model, has died aged 25 just days before her son Kyro’s first Christmas. The death of the Geordie social media star was revealed on Thursday sparking an influx of emotional tributes from her followers and fans online.

Rachel, also known as Rachel Kaitlyn, was from Newcastle and had over 40,000 followers on Instagram. She frequently used the platform to promote her OnlyFans and Playboy sites as well as to showcase her modelling, also posting fashion content and pictures with her young son.

Her OnlyFans page was the first link in her Instagram bio, charging $12.99 a month for access to her content and the 28 posts on her page. As well as her social media work, Rachel was CEO and founder of a lingerie and bikini brand called Rachel Mee Crystal Creations.

With the Instagram page showcasing the glitzy designs and sexy underwear, the bio described the brand as: 'All the Glitz you need from Rhinestone to Swarovski – Diamonds are a girls best friend. Lingerie, Bikinis and Festival wear.'

Rachel also revealed in her Instagram bio that she worked with QOD MODELS LONDON who describe themselves as the 'UK’s #1 Platform for Influencers, Video Vixens & Content Creators' to help build her platform.

She was also involved with the company My Paradise Shoot which offers brand collaborations with influencers abroad, posting one such trip to Instagram with the caption: “A trip I will never forget! BTS of Curves in Paradise @myparadiseshoot. Amazingly organised, professional & amazing team to work with!”

Former EastEnders actress Danniella Westbrook has joined the many who have paid tribute to Rachel after her friend Claire Robinson shared the news on the fundraising page and pleaded for people to dig deep in order to create a fund for Rachel’s son, born in March this year.

The fundraising page, which has so far raised several hundred of the £5,000 budget for Kyro, read: ‘This Christmas will be Kyro's first, and devastatingly his mummy will not be there, we are all so saddened with this devastating news how this world has failed such a beautiful young girl…

"We feel if we can raise some funds for Kyro’s future just to take a little stress away from Rachel’s family and to help in some way. Or to even give Kyro a little head start in life raising some funds in memory of his beautiful mummy. [sic]."

While Rachel’s cause of death has yet to be confirmed, her friend added: “Rachel sadly lost her battle with the pressures of this world. We are all so saddened with this devastating news, how this world has failed such a beautiful young girl and how she felt she had no other option [than] to no longer be here.”

A second GoFundMe campaign was created by family friend Chris Coppen to raise money for the funeral costs. Chris stated: “I've been asked from the family of Rachel to set a GoFundMe up as there have been so many messages paying respects and asking how they can help.”
