Ariana Grande and James Corden Created a Musical Tribute to Titanic, and It’s INCREDIBLE

Fans of Titanic, it’s time to unite behind a common good: James Corden and Ariana Grande’s new soundtrack. On Aug. 13, the 25-year-old singer joined The Late Late Show host to recreate the plot of the iconic movie with a musical twist and the results are incredible. Corden opened their 13-song performance by explaining to viewers that there would be nine sets, one take, and “zero” pressure involved. Wow!

The duo sampled a range of iconic songs for their soundtrack, from “Come Sail Away” by Styx to “Bye Bye Bye” by NSYNC. They also reenacted unforgettable scenes from the 1997 film, like Jack and Rose’s famous “I’m flying” moment on the edge of the ship. While we were out of breath just watching Corden and Grande, they still left time to bring out the showstopper: “My Heart Will Go On” by Céline Dion. Grande’s rendition is close to a perfect match to Dion’s own voice, and given that she’s so skilled at celebrity impressions, we’re not surprised.

If you’re a fan of the heartbreaking drama in a deep, personal way, watch the video above. The pair’s full performance is pretty unbelievable and now we’re even more excited for their upcoming Carpool Karaoke.
