Royal Experts Say the Palace Already Has Eagle Eyes on Princess Charlotte & Prince Louis for This Understandable Reason

Much to the dismay of parents, sibling rivalries are pretty normal. At the very least, siblings are known for teasing and giving one another a hard time. But royal siblings — for pretty much every reason — are unable to be “normal.” With the release of Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare, the royal family saw just how quickly and publically things can spiral out of control when there are problems between royal siblings.

And so experts say the palace is already keeping an eye on the dynamic Princess Charlotte, 9 and Prince Louis, 5 (the “spares”) have with their older brother Prince George, 10 (the heir and second in line to the throne).

“They have to think about George’s feelings in relation to his siblings. George has all this pressure,” royal expert Christopher Andersen exclusively told Us Weekly, explaining that the future monarch needs to know he can rely on his siblings in the future. “He has these two siblings who can help him — who can ease some of the pressure and share some of the burden.”

“By the same token,” Anderson continued, “They don’t wanna feel sidelined. They don’t wanna feel invisible in his shadow…The royal family does not want another kid writing a book … another edition of Spare. Obviously, Harry was very hurt by being in the shadow of his brother [Prince William].”

    The young royals seemed to have a great time together when they participated in the Big Help Out — a day of volunteering — after their grandfather’s coronation. They were seen with big smiles and munching on even bigger s’mores.

    There reportedly was some tension within the family when Prince Louis was left out of their trip to Wimbledon.

    “Louis was very upset he wasn’t coming today,” Kate Middleton told Ella Ottaway, who runs the All England Tennis Club’s scheme for young people, per Woman and Home.

    We don’t blame you, buddy! Hopefully this wasn’t enough to cause a rift between Prince George and Prince Louis like the one between their father and uncle.

    Prince Harry and Prince William may have a tumultuous relationship (understatement of the year?), but Prince William and Prince George seem to be closer than ever. They were seen having a great time earlier this month when they attended a tennis match together. They watched from their box and George looked like a regular kid enjoying a slice of ‘za with his dad nearby.
