Old Navy’s new face masks are a game changer

Now that face masks have become a required wardrobe staple in much of the country, more and more retailers are selling cloth masks. Old Navy provides attractive and affordable face masks in a variety of colors and patterns, and they’ve just made their face masks even better by adding a new feature to them: ear adjusters.

While face masks can often be uncomfortable, especially around your ears, the ear adjusters will enable you to get a more comfortable fit. If you find that regular face masks fit just fine, don’t worry — Old Navy is still selling those, too.

Per SILive.com, Old Navy’s face masks are machine washable and made with three layers of cloth material. They can be purchased in stores or from the Old Navy website. A pack of five face masks costs $12.50, while a pack of ten costs $25. Old Navy’s masks come in both adult and kid sizes.

Old Navy's face masks are comfortable and affordable

That’s just $2.50 per mask, which means that Old Navy’s bargain-priced face masks are a steal. While you might think that you don’t need quite so many face masks, remember that you need to wash your face masks after every use. If you’re leaving the house every day, that can lead to a lot of laundry — especially if you go through more than one mask a day, something that is quite easy to do in the summer months.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that people wear face masks when leaving the home to slow the spread of COVID-19. “Cloth face coverings are one of the most powerful weapons we have to slow and stop the spread of the virus – particularly when used universally within a community setting,” said CDC Director Dr. Robert R. Redfield in a statement. “All Americans have a responsibility to protect themselves, their families, and their communities.”
