Leah Messer Updates Fans on Daughter Adalynn’s Health After Hospitalization

On the mend! Leah Messer revealed that her 6-year-old daughter, Adalynn, is doing “much better” after being hospitalized last week for an infection.

“Addie never lost her spirit,” the Teen Mom 2 star, 26, said on an Instagram Live on Tuesday, March 19. “She was still so funny. The doctor in the ER was like, ‘Man, she has such a personality to be six years old, and I was like, ‘Oh, you haven’t seen nothing yet.’ … She definitely proved me right by talking and laughing and goofing off in the ER.”

She added: “Addie needs her own show. She is quite the entertainer.”

Even though she’s sick she was making everyone laugh in the ER. WHAT. A. DAY. Keep our girl in your prayers! ??

The reality star said that her daughter had “swollen lymph nodes” and was put on antibiotics for a couple of weeks. “Thankfully, the swelling is going down,” she said. “Now we’re just going to get more blood work. … It’s been crazy, but thankfully, she’s getting much better.”

The MTV personality told fans that her daughter was hospitalized on Thursday, March 14. “Even though she’s sick she was making everyone laugh in the ER,” Messer captioned an Instagram photo of Adalynn smiling in a hospital bed. “WHAT. A. DAY. Keep our girl in your prayers!”

Messer welcomed her daughter with her ex-husband Jeremy Calvert in 2013, three years after giving birth to twins Aliannah and Aleeah, 9, with her first husband, Corey Simms.

Calvert, 30, shared a shot with Adalynn in the hospital that same day, writing, “Hospital with this little one all day, I hope my baby girl starts feeling better.” In the father-daughter picture, the reality star cuddled up to Adalynn in the hospital bed.

When it comes to having more kids, Messer admitted on her Instagram Live, “I’m not opposed to it, but i’m not like, ‘Oh, yeah.’ How in the world would I have a kid right now? I’m not even thinking about that.”

Us Weekly confirmed last week that she and her boyfriend Jason Jordan split again after a brief reconciliation in November 2018.

Messer opened up further about being “single as a Pringle” on her Instagram Live, telling her followers, “You can meet a good person but that don’t mean the person’s good for you.”
