Lauren Luyendyk (née Burnham) and Arie Luyendyk Jr.‘s baby girl will be here soon, but the little one is still in a breech position.
“This is what I imagine @babyluyendyk is doing rn,” the pregnant reality star, 27, captioned a reposted picture of a newborn baby with his or her feet pulled up to its face. “She’s been breach [sic] for over 10 weeks as far as I know. Everyone send your positive vibes/prayers our way to get this munchkin flipped!”
The Virginia native and the former Bachelor, 37, who met on season 22 of the ABC show, celebrated their daughter’s impending arrival with a baby shower on Saturday, April 27.
Not only did the party feature a waffle bar, champagne and a bottle-chugging competition, but an ultrasound machine was set up in the middle of the living room so any moms-to-be attending could get scanned.
“This little babe is so loved,” Lauren captioned a photo on her Instagram Story of the race car driver cradling her budding belly, which was on full display in a white dress.
Just before their baby bash, the couple jetted off on a tropical babymoon. From private yoga sessions and kayaks to breathtaking views and bikini baby bump pics, Arie and Lauren were all smiles on vacation in Bermuda.
Us Weekly exclusively broke the news in January that the ABC personalities have a baby girl coming soon. “In the beginning, we were both hoping that we were having a girl,” the mom-to-be told Us at the time.
While she and Arie haven’t revealed their daughter’s name yet, the reality stars have already chosen one. “We’ve had her name picked out since Christmas!” Lauren wrote in a March Instagram Story. “We think it’s beautiful and unique. We’ve never met anyone with her name.”
She and the Bachelorette alum tied the knot in Hawaii in January.
