Kenya Moore: It’ll ‘Take Weeks for Me to Be Able to Walk’ After C-Section

Kenya Moore is trying to get back into a normal routine. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shared an update on her health days after she prematurely gave birth to her daughter, Brooklyn, due to preeclampsia.

“#realVsReality #brooklyndaly came early and the reality is it will take weeks for me to be able to walk without the excruciating pain of a C section and to heal from the multiple cuts to my uterus,” the 47-year-old captioned a video on Instagram on Thursday, November 8, of herself riding a motorized shopping cart at a local Target store.

“Needed to get her some preemie items so of course, off to @target we went,” Moore continued. “My aunt Lisa is so afraid! I’m supposed to be in bed.”

The Bravo personality revealed on October 31 that she was going to have to deliver her first child early because of the complication, which is marked by high blood pressure. Four days later, Moore and her husband, Marc Daly, welcomed Brooklyn.

Moore announced her pregnancy on the RHOA season 10 reunion in April. “I don’t want to talk about the details because I’m still very nervous about everything, so I want to get past a safe place,” she told her castmates and host Andy Cohen at the time.

The reality star secretly married Daly in June 2017 on a beach in St. Lucia. She later gushed on Instagram that the businessman is “the best man I’ve ever known,” adding, “It was a magical day.”
