In the Bag! Eva Longoria Carries Purse Featuring Son Santiago's Picture – and This Sweet Message

Even when Eva Longoria‘s son isn’t physically with her, his likeness isn’t far away!

The actress was photographed Monday leaving Beverly Hills Nail Design in Beverly Hills, California, carrying a custom bag featuring an illustration of herself and her 7-month-old baby boy, Santiago Enrique.

The sweet tote — depicting Longoria, 43, holding her son — also included a drawing of a blue heart inscribed with the words “Eres Mi Vida,” which translates to, “You Are My Life.”

For the pampering session, the Desperate Housewives alum wore a gray turtleneck-style vest over a white collared shirt and long brown pants, letting her hair hang in loose waves over her shoulders.

In December — almost six months after welcoming her first child with husband José “Pepe” Bastón — the new mom said she was hitting the weight room for an intense workout.

“I still love yoga,” Longoria told Us Weekly, but “my workouts now are more weight training. Very serious weight training.”

While she’s really challenging her body, the star said she wanted to give herself plenty of time to recover after giving birth to Santiago on June 19.

“I really gave my body time to adjust to postpartum and post-pregnancy,” she said. “You know, it had a baby! It created a human life, so I really wasn’t too hard about getting back into shape.”

Longoria was one of many L’Oréal Paris spokespersons and models to hit the catwalk during the brand’s open-access Le Défilé show in Paris, three months after her son’s arrival. Longoria modeled a floral-print long-sleeve dress by Giambattista Valli with high-low skirt and some playful neon eye makeup.

And while Santiago sat that event out, he did join his mom when she returned to work in August on the set of ABC’s upcoming show Grand Hotel, which she is executive producing.

“First day back to work and look who is my assistant director! Has a desk and everything! #WorkingMama #BabyBaston,” the star captioned a mother-son photo from her office.
