Today is Halsey’s birthday and to celebrate, the singer shared a photo of baby Ender’s face. Shocking absolutely no one, the baby is adorable.
The Without Me singer and their partner Alev Aydin welcomed baby Ender in July and since giving birth, Halsey has posted several snaps of the newborn, but none showing the face. In the newest photos, Ender looks straight at the camera wearing a brightly-colored onesie and a blue hat. “The best birthday gift there is,” Halsey, who turned 27, captioned the post.
After Ender’s birth, Halsey told radio host Zane Lowe that they’ve experienced some criticism surrounding their pregnancy and Ender’s birth. “I got treated like a teen mom a lot of the times, you know what I mean? Where people were like, ‘Oh my God, you’re so young, and you have so much to do in your career, and you’re not married and you’re this,’” the singer said, adding that they felt “feelings of shame” in response.

Since Ender’s birth in July, the baby has made a couple of appearances on Halsey’s social media, most notably in two no-cover breastfeeding photos. The award-winning singer has been vocal about breastfeeding, most recently skipping the Met Gala (for which the theme was “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”) to stay home and nurse Ender.
“I’m still breastfeeding. I only had my baby 7 weeks ago,” they wrote in a series of now-deleted tweets. “There’s nothing more ‘American fashion’ than moms having to go back to work after just giving birth lol.”
