Welcoming a baby can be a lot easier the second time around, when you know exactly what to expect along the way.
Florida Georgia Line‘s Tyler Hubbard and his wife Hayley are currently expecting their second child together — a son — and the music superstar is finding the experience a lot less stressful than when they were getting ready for the birth of their daughter Olivia Rose in December 2017.
“This time around is amazing,” he told PEOPLE, while opening up about FGL’s return to the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for an upcoming limited residency on Nov. 6, 8, 9 and 12 following the massive success of their shows last December.
“It’s not as stressful as the first time because you know you can handle it, so we feel confident, we feel really excited,” explains Hubbard, 32, adding that the couple has “a good team around us now that helps out, which is key in any aspect of life.”

Giving an update on how pregnancy is treating his wife, the musician shares that Hayley is doing well.
“She feels good! The first trimester was a little tough, but she’s doing good now,” he says, adding that the mom-to-be “just kind of started showing.”
“We’re due in August, which is right around the corner, so it’s definitely becoming real,” Hubbard adds.
As for the couple’s daughter, Hubbard explains that his 15-month-old baby girl is at an age where it seems like she’s achieving a new milestone daily.
“I feel like every day is something,” he shares. “She started walking around on her own and she just picks up on so much so fast. Every day or two is a new word or a new phrase or something, so she’s just really getting her personality, which is a lot of fun to watch.”
“It’s pretty amazing,” he tells PEOPLE of Olivia, adding that watching their daughter grow “brings a lot of joy to our lives.”

Tyler Hubbard Jokes Filming a Romantic Music Video with His Wife Is the Reason for Baby No. 2
Dropping by The Ellen DeGeneres Show in February with bandmate Brian Kelley, Hubbard learned the sex of his second child on the way through a surprise reveal.
After the dad-to-be told DeGeneres that he and Hayley were finding out later that week whether Olivia would be getting a little brother or sister, the host pulled out an envelope with the results and let him know he would be finding out right then.
DeGeneres, 61, then brought out a group of people, including Hayley — and before the big reveal, both she and Hubbard admitted they thought the baby was a boy. However, the mom-to-be joked, “Because I think it’s a boy, it’s probably a girl.”
Kelley and DeGeneres then pushed a big red button, which set off a pair of cannons that sprayed blue confetti onstage. The couple shared a big hug after the reveal, with Hubbard saying excitedly, “This is so unexpected!”

The couple first revealed the happy news of their baby on the way at Clive Davis and the Recording Academy’s annual pre-Grammy gala earlier that month, with Hubbard sweetly kissing Hayley’s bump on the red carpet.
“The Hubbard family is growing,” he captioned a photo of the sweet moment on his Instagram account. “We are excited to share that little nugget #2 is on the way. We are so thankful and can’t wait to see Olivia be a big sister.”
Tickets for FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS will go on sale to the public April 12 at 10 a.m. PT, but FGL’s fanclub, FGL Lifers, will have first access to a pre-sale beginning Monday at 10 a.m. PT through Thursday at 10 p.m. PT.
Citi card members will have access to purchase pre-sale tickets starting the following day, Tuesday, at 10 a.m. PT, until Thursday at 10 p.m. PT.
