Pregnant Amy Schumer revealed the sex of her first child with husband Chris Fischer while posting about Wendy’s fast-food chain on Sunday, May 5.
“Hey! We love @chancetherapper and hate to be the ones to tell him that Wendys is the only fast food chain refusing to protect farmworker women from sexual assault and rape in the fields,” the comedian, 37, captioned a photo of herself and her husband in her pediatrician’s office. “This is true. Please read that sentence again. Message for the people in charge: Instead of spicy nuggets, we want food that is harvested with dignity NOT violence. Please join the @fairfoodprogram and #BoycottWendys.”
And then she added: “Also we are having a boy.”

The I Feel Pretty star was responding to a tweet from Chance the Rapper on Sunday in which he kicked off a campaign to bring back Wendy’s spicy chicken nuggets.
Schumer and her husband announced in October 2018 that they are expecting their first child. The star has had a difficult pregnancy and has been forced to cancel shows as she’s suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, which causes severe nausea, vomiting and dehydration.
Last month she shared a photo while out for a walk with the chef, who she wed in February 2018, and captioned it, “Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer set pulses racing while the heavily pregnant Schumer flaunts her growing bump. Amy is still pregnant and puking because money rarely goes to medical studies for women such as hyperemesis or endometriosis and instead goes to things like d–ks not getting hard enough or old guys who want harder d–ks.”

After speculation spread online that she had given birth, Schumer posted a picture in her doctor’s office on Friday, May 3, that revealed her large naked baby bump and wrote, “Oh yeah does it feel to everyone like I’ve been pregnant for a long time? It must be getting annoying to you all that I’m still pregnant Well imagine how I feel mother f–kers!!!!!!” She added the hashtag #soblessed.
