Tesco

Tesco Free From Beef Lasagne

One date code of the ready meal has been recalled due to a possible allergy risk.

The items contains milk that is not mentioned on the label and could be dangerous for those with an allergy or intolerance.

The affected packs are 430 grams with the use by date of June 21, 2020.

Posting on Twitter, Tesco wrote: “As a safety precaution, we’re recalling a certain batch of Tesco Free From Beef Lasagne 430g. This is due to the possible presence of milk.”

Sainsbury’s

Fry’s Mushroom Country Style Pie

Fry’s Family Foods issued a warning as the product contains milk, chicken and ham not listed on the label.

This was caused by a packaging error and makes the item unsuitable for those with an intolerance to milk or who avoid eating meat.

The affected packs are 266 grams with the use by date of June 12, 2020.

Plant Pioneers Vegan Shroomballs

The food product was recalled due to the possible presence of plastic, causing a serious safety risk.

Packs that are 240 gram with any use by dates between June 3 and 6, 2020 should be returned.

The Food Standards Agency website said: “Sainsbury’s has taken the precautionary step of recalling Plant Pioneers Vegan Shroomballs because some packs may contain small pieces of white plastic. The possible presence of plastic makes this product unsafe to eat.”

Aldi

Savour Bakes Bread Sticks

Athenian Family Bakery has warned about a bread sticks product as it could contain small pieces of metal.

The affected packs are 125 grams with the batch codes 704888 and 49830 and any use by date.

A notice from Aldi read: “Our supplier, Athenian Family Bakery, is recalling this product as it may contain small pieces of metal.

“Customers are asked to return this product to the nearest store, where a full refund will be given.”

Primula cheese

Primula Ltd has recalled products that are sold in a number of supermarkets.

The Food Standards Agency website said: “Primula Ltd is recalling all Primula Cheese tubes, (chilled and ambient) because the product might be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum due to a production fault.

“They have taken the precautionary step of recalling all products because one product might contain Clostridium botulinum.”
