Looking for a new quarantine treat? Lindt has brought out a product that is going down a treat with sweet toothed types.
The Swiss chocolatier has just launched a brand new flavour that takes lockdown snacking to a whole next level.
The delightful new product in question? A salted caramel truffle.
Similar to other Lindor choccies, the salted caramel chocolate truffle has a smooth milk chocolate case and contains a silky caramel-flavoured filling.
Chocolate lovers can pick up the latest edition in the Lindor range at selected Morrisons and Tesco stores – where boxes are on sale for £5.
For those wanting to stock up, they’re also available to buy in bulk on Amazon – if you can get a delivery slot, that is.
The chocolatey treat was first spotted on the newfoodsuk Instagram account – a post which can now racked up more than 8,000 likes.
Of course, it wasn’t long before fans were quick to share their excitement.
One replied to the post: ‘Good Lord! I need these bad boys!’
While another enthusiastic follower added: ‘Oh my sweet baby Jesus!’
Another simply commented: ‘Game changer.’
‘OMG! I’ve just cried a little,’ said another Lindt lover.
Another frustrated fan commented: ‘I love the Lindt truffles and salted caramel is one of my favourite flavours. How have I managed to miss these?!’
In other tasty news, a jaffa cake-flavoured gin is now on sale for those who want to give their beverages a cakey twist and M&S has brought out a new £5 wine range.
It also looks like people are now turning to a whipped espresso martini recipe as an alternative to the TikTok Dalgona coffee trend.
