New York-based designer Lynn Ban is known for more than just her inventive jewelry designs. The former vintage fashion archivist has become a mainstay in the style space for her unapologetic and bold approach to fashion, and if you’re a close friend of Ban’s, she’s also known for being a great gift giver. With a penchant for thinking outside of the box, it’s no surprise that she found a way to celebrate the holidays with friends from afar, virtually sharing a Patrón Añejo Tequila cocktail for a gift exchange.
Despite this season’s travel restrictions, Ban hosted a digital get together with her equally fashionable friends, designer Michael Halpern of Halpern Studio and stylist Patti Wilson. The trio drew names and sent their gifts ahead of time before opening presents during the virtual cocktail party. To make sure they didn’t feel too far away, each created the same drink using Patrón cocktail kits featuring Patrón Añejo Tequila, which is handcrafted from 100% Weber Blue Agave. The warm amber-colored spirit provided a festive way for Lynn, Michael and Patti to toast each other and the year ahead — even if they can’t be together.
