A WOMAN has shared her simple hack for making sure cheese stays fresh after you’ve opened the packet.
Shannon, who posts under @athomewithshannon on TikTok, has blown people’s minds by chopping up the wrapper to help the process.
In her video, which has been viewed over 222,000 times, Shannon said: “Best LIFE HACK. This is so good it should be part of the directions.
"This is one of those life hacks that blew my mind and changed my everyday life.
“You know when you cut a block of cheese? Save the top packaging – it fits back on to reseal."
Shannon demonstrated how she chops a block of cheese so it still has the packaging on it.
Instead of binning the wrapper, she then snuggly fits it back over the exposed part of the cheese, so it remains sealed.
Many impressed cheese lovers said they were desperate to try the hack at home.
