This pot of Domino’s garlic and herb dip has more calories than TWO McDonald’s cheeseburgers – and people are horrified

NO Domino's takeaway is complete without a side of their yummy garlic and herb sauce to dip your crusts in.

But it may shock you to hear that a large tub of the delicious dip contains more calories than two McDonald's cheeseburgers.

Domino's launched the super-sized garlic and herb dip in 2015 after customers complained that the regular-size pots were too small.

The big dip is 100g, meaning it is four times as big as the standard 25g pots – and packed with 675 calories.

According to the nutritional information on the Domino's website, a 25g pot of the garlic and herb dip contains 169 calories.

A McDonald's cheeseburger is around 263 calories, so scoffing a whole pot of the large Domino's dip is akin to eating two and a half burgers.

Of course, the big dip is designed to be shared by more than one person, with Domino's marketing the sauce as recommended for four.

But Domino's fans were still shocked by the news, with some taking to Twitter to share their surprise.

One tweeted: "As if the 100g pot of Domino's garlic and herb dip has 675 calories in it. Byeeeeeee."
