Photos of Princess Anne were shared on Twitter last week as she visited Cowbog Farm in Scotland on Thursday, March 23. The caption accompanying the photos read: “Many thanks to the Wilson family, who hosted a visit from HRH The Princess Royal yesterday at Cowbog Farm, one of the nine Monitor Farms. The Princess was given a guided tour of the farm, unveiled a plaque, and planted a gum tree.”
Princess Anne wore a fitting outfit for a day in the Scottish countryside.
She donned a navy blue coat and a pair of grey trousers, which were tucked into her knee-high boots.
The boots seemed to be made of leather and suede and were a combination of light and dark brown. They were also tied at the top with laces.
Anne also donned a woolly red scarf, which she had tucked underneath the collar of her navy blue coat.
The Princess Royal completed her look with a pair of black leather gloves and a black leather bag.
Her hair was in its usual neat bun, and she wore minimal make-up.
As for jewellery, Anne sported her usual tiny, pearl stud earrings. She wears these often, if not almost every day.
Anne completed her look with a pair of white-framed sunglasses with large, rectangular-shaped lenses.

The royal has donned these glasses on many past occasions, including to watch a rugby match that marked the beginning of the Commonwealth Games in June.
At the time, the glasses seemed to be controversial among fans due to their quirky nature.
One Twitter user, @w_coast_bluesey, previously wrote: “Her glasses crack me up, respectfully.”
Sarah Delore said: “Sunglasses on point, as per.” Judith Ince added: “Aaahh but Princess Anne has really cool sunglasses.”
On another occasion, for a visit to Edinburgh in September last year, royal watchers commented on Anne’s sunglasses again.
Twitter user Amoy wrote: “She’s so cool.” Twitter user @travisequalis added: “Princess Anne got some good taste in sunglasses.”[sic]
Anne visited Cowbog Farm in Roxburghshire, Scotland, last week as part of the Monitor Farm Programme, supported by Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) and AHDB.
JRB Wilson & Sons, Cowbog Farm – one of nine Monitor Farms in Scotland – hosted the royal, who is Patron of Scotch Chef’s Club, showcasing the work the business is doing to advance the farming sector.
Robert Wilson, of JRB Wilson & Sons, said of Anne’s visit: “It was an absolute privilege to have the Princess Royal visit Cowbog Farm and hear about the work we’re doing to improve farming practices in Scotland.
“There’s still much to be done, but it is reassuring to know that we have the support of Princess Anne as we continue to explore new opportunities and challenges.”
