Meghan Markle wears £1,728 khaki maxi dress by US designer Brandon Maxwell with Diana’s jewellery on day one of Australia tour

Earlier in the day, the pregnant Duchess of Sussex wowed in a £1,000 white dress by Aussie designer Karen Gee – as she made her first public appearance since the couple announced their happy news.

Meghan, 37, opted to stick to her American routes for the second outfit of the day, which was by US designer Brandon Maxwell.

Sadly for those looking to steal the fashionable royal's style, the khaki pleated button-up shirt dress is from the SS19 collection and is not currently available online – although a red version was previously selling for £1,728.

Meghan also swept her locks back into her signature loose bun for the afternoon reception at Admiralty House – where the mum-to-be met Aussie singer Missy Higgins and her nine-week-old baby Lunar.

But it wasn't all change for the duchess, who kept on the late Princess Diana's jewel-encrusted butterfly earrings and gold bangle.

The gems are thought to be a gift from her husband Prince Harry, to mark their baby news.

Meghan also wore the same pair of pointed nude heels throughout the day.

Brandon Maxwell is quickly becoming one of Meghan's favourite designers.

The fashion house is also responsible for the stunning yellow shift dress she wore to London's Commonwealth Youth event back in July.

We previously revealed that Meghan's best friend and stylist was expected to join the couple on the royal tour – and help the duchess change outfits up to THREE times a day.

Yesterday we revealed that the royal tot may have been conceived on another royal trip abroad.

And here's what Meghan and Harry's baby could look like.
