A BIKINI athlete has revealed how good lighting can dramatically improve the appearance of her physique in photos.
Lisa (@healthyfit4life) has an ageless appearance after training to compete in NPC bikini bodybuilding competitions at age 58.
She has garnered over 12,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares how she gets in shape for each of her shows.
The fitness fanatic took to the social media platform with a snap showing how her body looks with a ring light in comparison to natural lighting.
In both of the photos, she donned the same blue bikini set and clear posing heels.
Her muscles looked visibly more defined and her skin looked smoother when she stood in front of the ring light.
The shadows of natural lighting made it difficult to see her capped shoulders and the roundness of her glutes – all of which judges look for when judging bikini competitions.
Lisa captioned the post: “Lighting can really make a difference!”
She included the hashtags #npcbikinimasters50plus, #fitbody, and #posingpractice.
Commenters were quick to praise her and shared their confidence in her ability to win her next competition.

The post came after Lisa had shared behind the scenes of another day of poising practice and tried to encourage others to get fit in midlife.

She donned gray shorts and a black sports bra as she posed to show her enviable figure from different angles.
She captioned the post: “You CAN get and stay FIT AT ANY AGE! Good nutrition, weight training five days a week, and a good MINDSET!”

“Sometimes a good ‘complain in your head sesh’ is all it takes… to get through a workout!” she said.
