THERE are two types of people in this world – those who have to fight the urge to crack open their Christmas decorations in July and those who are willing the festive season to be over as soon as it starts.
However, surely we can ALL agree that the first week of November is categorically too early to put your Christmas tree up.
That said, the fact that Christmas is a whole 48 days away hasn't deterred diehard festive fans from already assembling their trees.
Yes, REALLY.
Over on Instagram, the hashtag #christmasinnovember currently has over 48,000 tagged posts of perfectly decorated trees, Christmas-spiced coffees and festive jumpers in all their glory.
But it's the process of actually putting up Christmas trees a whole six weeks early that has sparked the greatest debate among users – with festive fans themselves even admitting it's "way too early" for tinsel and baubles.
Sharing a photo of herself posing in front of her pastel-toned tree, one user gushed: "Yes, it's Christmas in November for us."
Posting a snap of her perfectly decorated tree, an American user admitted: "I usually wait until the day after Thanksgiving but couldn't contain my excitement this year.
"Nothing helps make a house feel like a home than Christmas decor."
Agreed…. but we'll still be holding off until the 1 December.
