Casio's New MT-G Combines a 12-Sided Metal Bezel With a Carbon Core

Casio‘s metal/carbon MT-G line of watches has just received a colorful update along with a new 12-sided bezel. This time around, the Triple G-rated watch — shock, G-force, and vibration resistance — arrives in either a metallic maroon, navy, or silver color (IP ion-plated).

The metal bezel sits atop the MT-G’s signature carbon resin core protective case to form G-SHOCK’s Dual Core Guard structure. Elevating this analog Casio is its multifunctional design with stopwatch functions, multi-time zones, alarm, dedicated second time zone display, and calendar function. This watch also has a screw-down crown, a solid one-touch three-fold clasp bracelet, and is water-resistant up to 200 meters.

Those interested can expect the G-Shock MT-G B2000BD-1A4 to drop in early November for a price of ¥125,000 JPY (approximately $1,183 USD).
