Victoria Beckham’s app backfires by claiming she would ‘happily divorce David’

An app designed to allow fans to have ‘conversations’ with Victoria Beckham sensationally backfired by suggesting the Spice Girl would happily divorce her husband and loves him for his money.

The fashion designer launched a robotic chat app with Facebook as a way of keeping her followers up-to-date with everything happening at London Fashion Week, and to celebrate 10 years of her designer fashion brand.

But after fans began asking her AI some rather personal questions, the app fired back some unusual and embarrassing answers on behalf of the 44-year-old.

According to The Sun , when asked if divorcing husband David would make Victoria happy, the app replies: "Very".

They also report that in response to the question "Does David’s money make you happy?", the app again answers "Very".

The newpaper also reports that when the app was asked "Are you happy with David?", it dodged the question by saying: "I can’t tell you anything more" and adding a zipped mouth emoji.

And when asked if she loves David, it responded with a ‘shush’ face emoji.

Talking about the app, Victoria had said in a social media video: "I wanted to let you know that the incredible team at Facebook have created a chatbot version of me, Victoria Beckham, so I can virtually keep you up to date with everything that’s happening during London Fashion Week."

Earlier this year, the couple were forced to deny rumours that they were getting a divorce.

It started when a PR worker sent untrue information to family members from her work email account.

The email was made public when it was screen-grabbed and shared online.

The star and her husband of 19 years were said to be furious about the email, and the PR worker was fired from her job.

At the time, the Beckhams, who share kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, issues a statement to shut the rumours down.

Reps for the couple said: "This is just fake social media news. This is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time.

"There is no statement due, no divorce, and a lot of Chinese whispers and fake social media news."

Mirror Online has contacted Victoria’s representatives for comment.
