Victoria Beckham is at odds with her father-in-law over the guest list at a lavish christening she and hubby David are throwing for their two youngest children.
The designer/singer has banned the daughter of Ted Beckham’s girlfriend, millionaire solicitor and professor Hilary Meredith, from attending a posh Christmas christening party this weekend for kids Harper, 8, and Cruz, 14, The Sun reported.
Victoria Beckham, 45, and her iconic soccer player husband, 44, are hosting the event at their Cotswolds mansion and invited her Ted, 71, and Meredith, 60, but blocked her daughter, Charlotte, 27 from attending.
The Beckhams said they couldn’t fit one more person at the party, where staff have to sign non-disclosure agreements and where guests have been asked to dress in “full-length and fabulous” style.
The guest list includes director Guy Ritchie, who will be a godfather to Cruz, and actress Eva Longoria, who along with Victoria’s sister Louise, will be one of Harper’s godmothers.
Sir Elton John, who is godfather to the Beckhams’ two older children, Brooklyn, 20, and Romeo, 17, is among the guests, as are David Furnish and Liv Tyler.
