The TOWIE cast member, 31, said that although they haven’t been dating officially there have been ‘blurred lines’ since 2018.

Pete told The Sun: ‘Yes our relationship has been more than just a friendship. It has been romantic. There have definitely been blurred lines over the last two-years.
‘We haven’t been officially seeing each other but there’s definitely been times it’s been more than just a friendship.’
‘It has been sexual which has now made things very difficult.’
Pete added that there’s ‘a lot of love between’ him and Chloe, 37, despite them not speaking for months after their fall out in January.
However Pete said he doesn’t think they’d be able to maintain a relationship as things have already become too messy.

He said: ‘I do love her and she is one of the most important people to me and hopefully I am to her but we have subsequently made a mess of our friendship.’
MailOnline has contacted Chloe’s representative for a comment.
On Sunday’s episode Chloe and Pete are heading to couple’s therapy in a bid to save their relationship after months of not speaking during coronavirus lockdown.

‘This is the whole point, this is one of the things I need about you is that everyone else will allow me to go and do my thing, but I need someone to tell me, if I’m wrong I’m wrong.’
‘If you think I wouldn’t be there for you, you’re wrong.’
However Chloe could be set for more upset as Pete , told MailOnline ‘I’m better off on my own’ – days after his secret romance with Chloe was first revealed.
In an exclusive interview, Pete, who hasn’t dated on the show since his 2018 split from Shelby Tribble, 27, said: ‘It’s been a tough year for Chloe and me. For our friendship and everything else…’
He said: ‘Everyone is really confused by Chloe and me but things will be explained that will make better sense to everyone.
‘It’s been a confusing couple of years for our friendship. To be honest with you, I’m not in the right headspace for a relationship either.’
