Taylor Swift’s ME! collaborator Brendon Urie calls Scooter Braun a ‘f***ing a**hole’ and ‘piece of s***’
Suffice to say, Brendon Urie is on Team Taylor.
Urie, who performed alongside Taylor Swift on the hit single ME!, ripped Scooter Braun as a ‘f***ing a**hole’ and ‘piece of s***’ in the wake of Swift’s public statement opposed to the sale of her material to the music manager’s company Ithaca Holdings, which she described as her ‘worst case scenario’ on her Tumblr blog on Sunday.
The 32-year-old musical artist, in a livestream on Twitch, held nothing back against the music industry executive, who manages such stars as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato.

‘This Scooter Braun s**t, like what a piece of s**t, right?’ he said. You guys know about this dude? It just like broke my heart, I read Taylor’s statement and I was like, “That sounds about right, ya know:” Toxic dudes doing toxic bulls**t in this toxic industry.’
The Panic! At The Disco performer characterized the sale of Swift’s catalog by her former label Big Machine Label Group to Braun ‘disgusting,’ calling Braun ‘a f***ing asshole.’
The St. George, Utah native questioned the legality of the purchase by Braun, who will now control Swift’s catalog.
‘I thought that was illegal – to do a business turn behind the people who wrote the stuff,’ said Urie. ‘Like you can’t do it without their knowledge. There’s a certain amount of time legally that you have to let the people know … like there’s gotta be a precedent for that – not toxic masculinity … I stand with Taylor, of course: It’s a sh**show to learn how awful people can be … just for some profit … and maybe some clout.’

Urie is one of many entertainers to come to publicly pledge his support for the 29-year-old singer-songwriter, joining a group that includes other notable names such as Halsey, Iggy Azalea and Cara Delevingne.
Speaking on social media in defense of Braun included his wife Yael Cohen, Bieber and Lovato.
Swift took to the blog to decry the deal, saying that Braun has been ‘manipulative’ in ‘bullying’ her for years – including her 2016 imbroglio with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

‘My musical legacy,’ she wrote, ‘is about to lie in the hands of someone who tried to dismantle it.’
Swift claimed learned of the deal when it was publicly announced earlier Sunday, an idea Big Machine Label Group’s Scott Borchetta said he was skeptical of: In a blog he posted, Borchetta said he reached out to Swift prior to the sale; and that her father was aware of what had happened days prior to the transaction being finalized.
‘I truly doubt that she “woke up to the news when everyone else did,”‘ said Borchetta, who also indicated that Swift had the opportunity to own her own material should she had stayed with his label instead of signing with Universal Music Group last fall.
