Strictly Come Dancing partner Nadiya Bychkova has split from her fiancé, according to reports.
The Strictly professional is said to have split from Matija Škarabot, the father of her five year old daughter Mila, after the couple allegedly struggled making their relationship work long distance.
The dancer, 32, is currently focusing on the Strictly tour while the footballer, 33, is in Slovenia.
A source toldMailOnline: "Nadiya and Matija haven't been together for some time now.
"Matija is dedicated to his footballing career in Slovenia and Nadiya is predominantly based in London.
"Performing on Strictly and the Strictly Live Tour takes up half her year, in the end the commitment to their jobs made it too difficult for the relationship to work.
"There's still a lot of love and respect between them and Mila is and always will be their priority."
OK! has approached Nadiya's representative for comment.
Nadiya and BBC Breakfast's Dan Walker finished in fifth place in the most recent series of Strictly.
Nadiya first found fame on the Slovenian version of Strictly, before joining the UK series in 2017.
She’s previously been partnered with the likes of former EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami, Blue singer Lee Ryan, and ex-professional footballer David James.
On Strictly, Nadiya and Dan struck up a firm friendship as dance partners, with Dan saying as he was the 10th celebrity to be eliminated: “I want to mention this amazing woman next to me, there are some people who walk into your life and turn some lights on, and that’s what she has done to me.
'You’re an amazing person, and if you’ll have me, you’ll have a friend for life.”
When asked if she had any words for Dan, Nadiya replied: “Like he said, sometimes the right person walks into your life at the right time and that’s what happened.
"You always encourage everyone, you always have time for everyone, it just inspires me to be a better person myself. Thank you.”
To mark the friendship, as a Christmas gift, Dan treated Nadiya to a personalised portrait of the two of them dancing which was surrounded by all things he ‘loves’ about Sheffield.
His hometown became home to Nadiya for a short while as she moved in with Dan and his family so the they could rehearse as much as possible.
Nadiya took to her Instagram story to gush over the special gift from her dance partner. She shared a picture of herself with the portrait and wrote: “Thank you so much for a very special gift partner @MrDanWalker I love it.”
