Slipknot have announced that they are bringing Knotfest to the U.K. for the first time in 2020.
The event will take place at The National Bowl in Milton Keynes on August 22. The full Knotfest UK lineup will be announced early next year.
The news comes just weeks after the band confirmed its first ever cruise event, Knotfest at Sea. Knotfest at Sea will set sail from the coast of Barcelona on August 10, 2020. The 4-night cruise will conclude on August 14 after making a round trip on the Norwegian Jade.
Since its first edition in 2012, Knotfest has expanded into five countries — the USA, Japan, Mexico, Colombia and France.
Meanwhile, this year’s Knotfest Meets Forcefest in Mexico City was marred with riots after both Evanescence and Slipknot canceled their performances due safety issues.
Slipknot decided to cancel their headlining set at Knotfest Mexico after a broken barricade sparked safety concerns at the festival.
