Like father, like daughter: Sarah and her father’s relationship appears to have been full of laughter

Silverman took to her Instagram Stories on Friday to share a humorous clip of her dad enjoying a pool day.

In the video recording her peppy voice can be heard asking her dad, ‘Hey, Schleppy, is it true you have a tattoo on your tushie?’

Her father smiled, ‘I do,’ while wading in the blue water with bushy eyebrows and white-gray hair.

‘You do?’ she asked again before her dad asked, ‘You wanna see it?’

‘Yeah!’ she answered before nudging him as she pried, ‘What is it? What does it say?’

‘It says Janice,’ he said while pulling his swim trunks down just slightly to reveal his wife’s name inscribed in a heart.

Happy spirit: Sarah posted a photo of her dad flashing a huge grin as he lay in a hospital bed

In February Sarah quipped that US Army recruitment is low because children already face the prospect of being shot at school, so are less likely to volunteer to go to war.

Silverman dryly attributed the recruitment struggle to ‘traditional hurdles’ such as ‘young people don’t want to die or get injured.’

‘These Gen Z kids are just like, “Why would I go get shot in the Middle East when I can get shot in the comfort of my middle school?” Silverman jested, a day after a mass shooting at Michigan State University that killed three students.

‘I’m kidding that doesn’t happen in America,’ she said sarcastically, referring mass shootings.
