Sex And The City fans were left brimming with joy on Sunday night, when it was revealed Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte are returning to the Big Apple for the revival., in news confirmed by Sarah in a teasing Instagram post.
The actress will reunite with co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, but not Kim Cattrall for the hugely anticipated revival series at HBO Max.
Sarah, 55, took to Instagram Sunday with a teaser for the new series, writing: ‘I couldn’t help but wonder… where are they now? X, SJ’.

Naturally, tongues were wagging over the presence of Kim, leading to one fan claiming she won’t return because Sarah didn’t like her – but she denied a feud.
Sarah made her feelings very clear, as she replied back: ‘No, I don’t dislike her. I’ve never said that. Never would. Samantha isn’t part of this story. But she will always be part of us. No matter where we are or what we do. X (sic)’
And another follower admitted she would miss Kim and her character, which Sarah agreed. She replied: ‘We will too, we loved her so.’
Despite Sarah’s statements, Kim first publicly spoke of her feud with Sarah Jessica three years ago, when she insisted she wasn’t ‘friends’ with any of her Sex and the City co-stars, including Kristin and Cynthia .

Sarah addressed the show’s mostly white cast to The Hollywood Reporter in September of 2018: ‘You couldn’t make it today because of the lack of diversity on screen. I personally think it would feel bizarre.’
She said of a potential reboot with a new cast: ‘It wouldn’t be a reboot as I understand it. If you came back and did six episodes, you’d have to acknowledge the city is not hospitable to those same ideas.
‘You’d look like you were generationally removed from reality, but it would be certainly interesting to see four diverse women experiencing NYC their way… It would be interesting and very worthwhile exploring, but it couldn’t be the same.’
