Ryan Gosling says he’s proud of his natural ‘Ken-ergy’ as he teases upcoming Barbie movie
Ryan Gosling has been creating quite a stir thanks to photos released of him as Ken from the set of the upcoming Barbie movie.
And while promoting his latest film The Gray Man, Gosling boasted to Entertainment Tonight that he has undeniable ‘Ken-ergy.’
The topic came up as Gosling insisted he was not at all offended by his The Gray Man co-star Chris Evans’s character referring to him on screen as a ‘Ken doll.’

‘I have that “Ken-ergy” that you can feel, obviously. I’m proud of that,’ Gosling teased to the outlet.
Not much is known about the plot of the Greta Gerwig-directed Barbie movie, which is described as a live-action film based on the popular Mattel doll.
Margo Robbie, 32, who plays the title character has said ‘Whatever you’re thinking, we’re going to give you something totally different — the thing you didn’t know you wanted.’
In his interview, the two-time Oscar nominee did not disagree, claiming ‘I would never correct Barbie. I would never dream of it. I would say whatever Barbie says is exactly right. She’s right. It’s not what you think it is.’

The actors have been spotted roller blading in along Venice Beach in neon pink skates and bright pink outfits.
Other snaps show them sauntering around in Western gear, with Ryan sporting a black and white Roy Rogers type of outfit with a white hat, boots and a pink kerchief.
The versatile artist’s partner, Eva Mendes, 48, has coined the term ‘Ken-aissance’ in an interview on The Talk to describe the ardor around the dreamy character. Her beau revealed that the Hitch star has seen part of the movie.

The father of Esmeralda, 7, and Amada, 6 kept his cards close to his vest in describing the film, which won’t hit theaters until next year. ‘I can’t wait for people to see the film. That’s all I can say, otherwise Mattel will come in and box me up.’
Ryan can next be seen as a spy who is outed in The Gray Man. The action thriller debuts on Netflix July 15.
