Rosie Huntington-Whiteley confesses secret to staying slim is no food after 6pm

Supermodel and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has spoken about her secret to staying so slim.

The 32-year-old mother-of-one and wife of Fast & Furious franchise star Jason Statham has unveiled just how she's looking so trim for photoshoots all the time.

In an interview with The Sunday Times Style magazine, Rosie has revealed her secret to be intermittent fasting, with eating occurring in only an "eight-to-10 hour window".

She said: "Then I try to finish eating between 4pm and 6pm. It gives my body a chance to digest everything."

Waking up in the morning, "the most LA thing" about Rosie is her matcha tea that she makes with oat milk every morning at 8am.

Such dieting won't be news to anyone who has tried the 5:2 diet or other variations of periodic fasting that allow the body to derive energy from its existing fat resources when there is no new food in the digestive system.

The key element that Rosie also sticks with is not being too rigid about when this time falls.

"Of course, if I'm going out for dinner, I shift it to later," she explained. "I'm flexible. You've got to live."

Rosie also promoted the element of fitness as well as fasting to being slim and healthy.

She said: "I'm always active – my mum was an aerobics instructor when I was young and she was always encouraging my siblings and me to be sporty."

The Mad Max: Fury Road star also said that she would change what she does for exercise depending on her moods but she is the type of person "who genuinely loves exercise".

If only we all felt the same, Rosie!
