Emily Ratajkowski recreates Demi Moore’s iconic 1991 Vanity Fair pregnancy photo shoot for her first Halloween as an expecting mom

Emily Ratajkowski just revealed she’s expecting her first child.

So the model/actress had a bit of fun recreating one of Hollywood’s most iconic pregnancy photo shoots for her Halloween costume on Saturday.

Emily, 29, donned just lacy black lingerie as she slung a white shirt off her shoulders and gently cradled her bare bump in an homage to Demi Moore’s 1991 pregnancy shoot for Vanity Fair.

The London-born SoCal native announced her first pregnancy with her husband, Uncut Gems co-producer Sebastian Bear-McClard, in an October 26 essay in Vogue pondering gender identity.

‘When my husband and I tell friends that I’m pregnant, their first question after “Congratulations” is almost always “Do you know what you want?”

‘We like to respond that we won’t know the gender until our child is 18 and that they’ll let us know then,’ wrote Emily, who’s penning a nonfiction book of essays titled My Body.

‘Everyone laughs at this. There is a truth to our line, though, one that hints at possibilities that are much more complex than whatever genitalia our child might be born with: the truth that we ultimately have no idea who – rather than what – is growing inside my belly.

Ratajkowski wrote Thursday: ‘Just reflecting on all the lovely messages we’ve received in the last few days. Thank you so much to each and every one of you who wrote to us. I was very nervous about sharing out news and it was heartwarming to receive so much love and support’

‘Who will this person be? What kind of person will we become parents to? How will they change our lives and who we are? This is a wondrous and terrifying concept, one that renders us both helpless and humbled.’

Ratajkowski added: ‘I like the idea of forcing as few gender stereotypes on my child as possible. But no matter how progressive I may hope to be, I understand the desire to know the gender of our fetus; it feels like the first real opportunity to glimpse who they might be.’
