Peter Andre has revealed what his daughter Princess has wanted to change about her appearance, after she sweetly asked him for permission first.

The daughter of the singer and glamour model Katie Price, 16, has garnered a large social media following, and recently landed a modelling deal with PrettyLittleThing.

And opening up on her recent change, Peter, 50, revealed his daughter wanted to add bleached blonde highlights to her waist-length locks.

Writing in his OK! column, Peter said: ‘Having a teenage son or daughter can mean dealing with ever-changing wants, needs and transformations, Princess’ most recent being her bleached blonde highlights.

‘She sweetly sent me a message asking if it was ok to get it done.

‘I replied, “Sweetie, you’re 16, not 12.” I care about their health, safety, education etc. I don’t want to sweat the small stuff,’ he said.

‘She’s a good, gentle soul. I remember dyeing my hair blue-black when I was younger because I wanted it to look like Elvis. I looked more like pelvis.’

Posting to her Instagram last month, Princess debuted her new look and captioned her post ‘barbie girlll’.

It comes after Princess revealed what she plans to do for a career after sharing she ‘didn’t pass all’ of her GCSE exams.

Princess live-streamed herself finding out that she had passed three out of seven of her GCSEs last month.

Now, Princess has taken to her Instagram Stories to share what she is planning to do now she has left school, admitting she is ‘excited’ about her next steps.

In a Q&A on Friday, Princess told how she plans to do social media and beauty training.

When asked what her plans are, she replied: ‘I’ll be doing social media and private beauty training xx sooooo excited.’

Elsewhere in the ‘ask me anything’ Q&A, Princess was also asked if she was going to ‘get anything done’ when she turned 18 years old in two years time.

To which Princess replied: ‘Surgery wise no, I would stay natural x.’

She has previously told how she doesn’t see herself going down the same cosmetic procedure route as her former glamour model mother Katie when she is older.

It comes after Princess revealed her GCSE results in a live-streamed Instagram video alongside her singer father Peter, 50, earlier this month.

She told fans she had passed three of her seven exams, after failing to obtain higher than a grade four in the other subjects.

Princess explained that you need to achieve at least a grade four in order to pass the exam, while the highest mark possible is a nine.

In the video, her father Peter told her he was so proud of her for ‘working her butt off’ ahead of the exams.

Princess said: ‘I didn’t pass all of them, but it’s fine, because I passed some of them! Apparently grade boundaries were really high this year.’

Peter said: ‘I’m proud of you, I think you worked your butt off. You know what, you worked really hard. Saw you working hard, which to me is more important.’

Exams: It comes after Princess revealed her GCSE results in a live-streamed Instagram video alongside Peter earlier this month

Princess revealed she received a 3 in business; a 3 in drama; a 5 in English; a 6 in fashion; a 4 in music; a 3 in geography and a 3 in maths.

Reflecting on her marks, she said: ‘I need to resit maths. I got 89 but I needed 98 out of 200 to pass maths. I think a four is a C.’

Peter – who also shares son Junior, 18, with ex-wife Katie – reiterated: ‘I can’t speak for every parent, but seeing you work hard is all I need. Look what you got in English!’

Princess: ‘I was bottom set so the best mark you can get is a 5.’
