Pamela Anderson at NYC party for Netflix doc Pamela, a Love Story

Pamela Anderson is radiant in glamourous ensemble at NYC party for her new Netflix doc Pamela, a Love Story

Pamela Anderson was a vision of glamour Wednesday evening in New York City at the Paris Theater, where a party was held to commemorate the release of her new Netflix documentary Pamela, a Love Story.

The Ladysmith, Canada native, 55, was clad in a black and white vertical-striped draped wool and cashmere-blend coat by Sergio Hudson.

The V.I.P. actress wore the designer coat over an off-white cowlneck satin gown at the event in the Big Apple.

She wore black high heels and had her wavy blonde locks styled to the side on the winter evening.

The Barb Wire star has been on the promotional trail as of late for both the documentary and her book Love, Pamela.

Anderson’s eldest son Brandon Lee was a producer on the Netflix doc.

Lee said earlier this week his mother was criminally underpaid during her time on the 90s pop culture staple Baywatch, as she only makes $4,000 annually off of residuals.

‘When I go back and I even look at past deals and residual checks people would be shocked to find out how people really took advantage of her,’ Lee told Extra at the Netflix Tudum Theater in Hollywood, California  at the premiere of the documentary Monday.

He described his mother – who played the role of C.J. Parker on 110 episodes of the syndicated series from 1992-1997 – as ‘a young girl making a bad deal on a big show and she was the biggest star at the time.’

He continued: ‘A lot of people made a lot of money off that, people are going to have to have their day when we come knocking … when she makes $4,000 a year off of Baywatch? That’s a crime.’

Anderson was a breakout star in the ensemble cast of the beach-based series, which also featured David Hasselhoff, Yasmine Bleeth, David Charvet, Gena Lee Nolin, Nicole Eggert, Donna D’Errico and in its later years, Jason Momoa.

The $4,000 annual residual rate pales in comparison to many of Anderson’s contemporaries who appeared on hit shows that went on to syndication, according to a 2019 piece published by Yahoo.

The principal six cast members on Friends – Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc – earn $20 million a year on a deal that gave them 2 percent apiece on residuals, according to a 2015 USA Today report.

Anderson has been famous for more than 25 years following her stints on Baywatch, Home Improvement and V.I.P.

The creators of another iconic 90s show, Seinfeld, Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld – make up to $400 million each cycle of syndication, New York Magazine reported in 2014.

Cast members Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Michael Richards and Jason Alexander do not own a stake in the series, the International Business Times reported in 2013.

Ray Romano’s royalties for the hit CBS series Everybody Loves Raymond earned the actor up to $18 million annually, according to the Yahoo report.
