‘Women should be unapologetic and fearless in their body’: Myleene Klass, 45, hits back at trolls after she was accused of recreating THAT bikini shower scene to ‘win’ I’m A Celebrity

Myleene Klass hit back at trolls on Wednesday after she recreated her iconic white bikini shower scene on I’m A Celebrity South Africa.

The radio presenter, 45, showcased her jaw dropping figure in the tiny two piece, 17 years on from her original appearance, as she hit the shower after being covered in brown gunge in a trial.

However, some fans did not approve of the star ‘stripping down to a bikini to win the show’ and slammed the former Hear’Say singer for doing so.

One wrote: ‘You’re an intelligent bright girl but so disappointing that you feel that you have to strip down to your bikini to win the show!

‘You really are so much better than that. Such a shame Mylene.’

Wow! The radio presenter, 45, showcased her jaw dropping figure in the tiny two piece, 17 years on from her original appearance, as she hit the shower after being covered in brown gunge in a trial

Myleene couldn’t resist replying to the troll and took to her Instagram Story to write: ‘Intelligent bright girls know they can’t shower in a boiler suit.’

She added: ‘You can win trials, play a piano, raise a family and wear a bikini. They’re not mutually exclusive.

‘Women should feel unapologetic of who they are and fearless in the body they’re in. Wear what you want to wear, live how you want to live…. and let your sisters do the same’.

The celebrities in the All Stars ITV series have to compete and win the trials to keep their place on the hit show unlike the Australian version there is no public vote.

Myleene was originally known for wearing the white triangle skimpy bikini in the shower during her first time on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2006.

The singer also shared a montage of herself in the skimpy bikini back in the day and on the show now in the shower to her social media page.

She wrote: ’16 years on and the water’s just as cold. Thank you white bikini’.

The TV star also uploaded the same picture to her Story and told her 428 thousand followers they can ‘get their own white bikini’ from her Next collection.

Still got it! The singer also shared a montage of her in the skimpy white bikini back in the day and on the show now (pictured) in the shower to her social media page

It comes as Myleene previously revealed that the first white bikini she wore sold for a whopping £7,500 after the show.

Despite the scene being synonymous with Myleene, she warned viewers before the new show aired not to expect the same shower scenes as her first time around as she ‘doesn’t look like that anymore’.

But she appeared to have made a U-turn on her decision as she sizzled in the stunning swimwear.

Ahead of entering the camp, Myleene spoke about her white bikini.

She explained: ‘After doing the programme I saw the photo and I was like ‘”y goodness, it does look glamorous”, but it certainly didn’t feel like it – far from it!

‘There are worse things to be known for than being really clean! Since then, I have had three babies and I don’t look like that now.’

She added: ‘I am really proud of how strong my body has been. It has been through lots of trials and tribulations since and part of the reason for doing this all star version is I want to remind myself of that.

‘I do feel like a different person, I was in my 20s when I first came into the jungle and now I’m in my 40s.

‘I think I will smell the campfire and it will be like yesterday!

‘I’ve got so many great memories to pick from but I liked some of the things you don’t see on camera – like at night when the jungle came alive. All you could see was a wall of green dots, green eyes, reflected by the moonlight.’

While touching on the iconic bikini from her 2006 series, she said in her pre-entry interview: ‘I bought that white bikini for £40. After the show I sold it off – for £7,500!’

The famous tiny white bikini was auctioned for charity for £7,500 and Myleene later revealed it was a last-minute purchase.

She explained she had spent just £40 on the skimpy two-piece after producers informed her the striped number she had originally packed would not look good on film.
