Louise Thompson shares post about 'family feuds' then deletes it

EXCLUSIVE: Louise Thompson shares cryptic post about ‘family feuds’ then immediately deletes it – amid rumours of rift with brother Sam

Louise Thompson has let slip her family are in the midst of a feud, sparking speculation she’s fallen out with her brother Sam.

Sources have told MailOnline that the former Made In Chelsea stars have ‘drifted apart’ in recent months due to Sam’s work commitments and Louise’s new life as a mum and they no longer see each other as frequently despite being neighbours.

The siblings have always enjoyed a close relationship but tensions between the pair have intensified over the past year with insiders claiming the lack of support shown to one another during their respective personal ventures has sparked a deeper row.

And on Tuesday, Louise, 33, revealed there had been a fallout within the Thompson clan after deleting an Instagram post mentioning ‘family feuds’ while discussing what had recently contributed towards her mental health concerns.

A source told MailOnline: ‘It’s no secret Sam and Louise have drifted apart in recent months.

‘They no longer see each other as frequently as they used to which is surreal given they live next door to each other.

‘The recent lack of communication as they embark on particular projects has caused a rift which they’ve, as yet, failed to address.

‘The family hope it’s just a typical brother and sister fallout, but there is concern this may run and run without being sorted, and the longer it continues, the more difficult a resolution can be found.’

Louise let slip that a relationship has become strained by posting a now-deleted Instagram story on Tuesday saying she had been dealing with ‘a lot of stress’ including ‘health issues’ and ‘family feuds.’

She quickly removed the post from her profile, sharing the same image of her holding son Leo but excluding the mention of her family problems.

The original story stated, ‘I dealt with a lot of stress last week and I’m not as resilient as I used to be. Or maybe I am. Maybe I’m more resilient, I’m just dealing with much more significant issues.

‘Health issues, family feuds etc. When you have a child, you have less time to be selfish and to look after yourself.’

Despite the outpouring of support towards Sam’s Channel 4 documentary Is This ADHD? from his fanbase and girlfriend Zara McDermott, Louise or her fiancé Ryan Libbey haven’t publicly shared any encouragement towards the series.

In August, Louise shared an image Sam holding her son Leo, dedicating an Instagram post to her ‘devastation’ at not being able to spend her brother’s 30th with him in person

Sam last posted a throwback photo of Louise alongside his mum and Zara to celebrate International Women’s Day in March, describing his sister as ‘the picture of bravery and courage in the face of terrifying odds.’

The last time Louise shared a photo of Sam to her Instagram grid was on December 11 where the family were pictured at Battersea Power Station shopping centre ahead of the Christmas holidays.

In November, Sam said he was ‘sad’ to miss his nephew’s first birthday due to filming commitments, sharing a black and white image of Leo on his shoulders.

Louise shared her ‘devastation’ at not being able to celebrate Sam’s 30th in August, describing their friendship as ‘indestructible.’

She recalled memories from their younger years saying she used to ‘verbally annihilate’ Sam and refuse to spend time with him or his friends.

The siblings, who previously starred together on E4 series Made In Chelsea, have seen their lives head in different directions since Louise gave birth to her first baby in November 2021.

Louise has been suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and post-natal anxiety after she nearly died during labour with Leo, which has led to serious side effects and multiple hospital stays.

The star has shared her uphill struggle in overcoming panic attacks and depression with her followers, admitting some days are harder than others while undergoing therapy to help combat the trauma she’s endured the past 18 months.

Louise has been engaged to personal trainer Ryan Libbey since 2018 and together the couple share son Leo, who turned one in November

Sam, who has recently been diagnosed with ADHD, and Louise rose to fame on E4 series Made In Chelsea while Zara McDermott starred on Love Island

Last week, Louise documented one of her worse days, where she explained that after ‘burying’ her problems, her emotions boiled to the surface.

She said: ‘All the traumatic incidences that have occurred in my life raced back through my brain, pinging their way into my overactive amygdala, sending me right back into fight or flight.

‘It’s the most uncomfortable feeling. It feels like pure stress. Poison in my head. Clanging alarm bells. More pressure than a singing kettle. I can hardly focus or be around people. Reading and writing I can just about tolerate.’

Meanwhile, Sam has enjoyed career successes such as his presenting gig on Hits Radio, as well as supporting Maya Jama as a co-host on Love Island spin-off show Aftersun.

He explores his ADHD diagnosis in his new Channel 4 documentary, which features girlfriend Zara, best friend and TOWIE star Pete Wicks, and mum, Karen.

Sam and Zara have also become social media stars on TikTok and Instagram thanks to their entertaining couples’ content, which has seen them garner millions of hits and views.

MailOnline has contacted Sam and Louise’s representation for comment.
